At the bus stop

I fell in love,
I fell in love with your voice.

It has such power over me.
It calms me in a second,
In a second it creates commotion within.

Eyes shut if I listen to you,
I feel one with everything.
Like I am talking to myself,
Or you are talking to yourself.

Some people may think of me,
as foolish, like a child,
being enthralled by your 'magic'.
But deep inside I know,
If you are a magician,
I want to learn magic from you.

Oh I am such a lunatic in love!
I no longer want to be like you,
I want to be you.
Or me.
I want to experience that oneness.

I will even let go of this light,
To merge with everything in reality,
In darkness.
I am waiting at the bus stop.
Come take me.

Waves and Breaths

Sometimes I just shut my eyes and watch my breath - inhaling, exhaling. I get so lost, even if for a few moments, trying to understand where does the breath start, where does it end! I mean, what is the starting point of exhalation in my body and ending of the inhalation?

Then noticing each breath as a wave. Each exhalation ending as a wave crashing on the shore, and each inhalation, building momentum for the crash.

If you come to think of it, when you are excited, or agitated, your breath becomes like waves in a stormy sea, gathering and crashing in quick succession. And when you are calm, isn't it like sitting by a calm lake, river or sea?

I sometimes wonder if there is a connection there? Well 70% of our body is water? Also are there anymore such connections between nature and us? I wonder so much!

A Drop in the Ocean

What is this me?
Why is this me?

What is this them?
Why is this them?

Isn't there just one?

Yes tiny drops make an ocean,
But do we see them as a drop, or just the ocean?

And look at those drops of water,
Not different from each other,
No ego whatsoever,
That they make the massive ocean,
Or I am drop at the top,
And you are at the bottom,
just in darkness, whilst I enjoy the light!
The waves make sure, this isn't a permanent sight.

And look at us, a big 'human',
In this even bigger city, country
In this even bigger, earth, universe!

I won't say grow up!
Because that is the problem.
Go back to your childlike mind,
Be curious all the time,
no right no wrong, no past no future,
Just joy, pure joy.
Right here, right this moment. :)

Living in the Moment?

This is a small attempt to compile and expand some thoughts. This post is one of a few I might share in the future randomly. But poetry will still flow. Thank you for your time. 🙇

People talk about living in the moment. But if you come to think of it, you can only live in the moment and that's it. Neither can you live in the past moment, nor in a future moment.
You can think about the past or future, but that can only happen in this moment. No other moment.
So I guess what people who say to 'live in the moment'  are trying to get is that you experience each moment, completely.
Question comes, how do you do it?
It is no rocket science if you come to think of it. You just need to live each moment, consciously.  :)

Take me away

Take me away,
Take me away,
From this body of mine,
From this mind of mine.

The more I am with them,
It seems like going deeper in a mine.
If only I was in the dark end of this mine,
But oh, this mine is lit up!

Shut the lights, mute the sounds!
Take away my senses of smell touch and taste!
All these have been a complete waste!
They just create more duality,
When the truth is just one singularity.

Oh please my Master!
I beg of you with all I have,
Take me away!
Oh please!
Take me away!
Now.

Bit by Bit

Bit by bit I lose myself.
Bit by bit, I dissociate.
I dissociate with what was me,
then became mine.
Now yours.

Oh why do you tease?
With the next breeze,
Take me away. Completely.

Why this separation?
You see me as yourself.
When will I be able to see myself?

Hear my call!
Let me dissolve.
Let me disappear.
And become nothing.
Completely.

My life, my movie.

One early 1987 morning,
I came out of the most secure place,
And started witnessing this movie called life.
I was always the protagonist. My life, my movie.
Over the almost 270K hours of this short film,
I met, saw, heard, touched, smelt, countless beings and non-beings.
Each leaving a part of them with me,
And taking away a part of me.
Sometimes big, sometimes small.

Now that I gaze at the person I see in the mirror,
All I see is a lump of energy I have gathered.

Below all this is the real, true myself, I have never met.
Some who have met themselves say,
When you do, everything becomes you.
You become everything.
and there is just, onesness.

I have a feeling, I maybe on a bus,
Taking me to that final stop of mine.
How long will it take, I don't know.
Maybe when now is the only moment left.

Till then I keep looking out of the window,
Enjoying every moment of this ride,
One moment at a time.
