Waves and Breaths

Sometimes I just shut my eyes and watch my breath - inhaling, exhaling. I get so lost, even if for a few moments, trying to understand where does the breath start, where does it end! I mean, what is the starting point of exhalation in my body and ending of the inhalation?

Then noticing each breath as a wave. Each exhalation ending as a wave crashing on the shore, and each inhalation, building momentum for the crash.

If you come to think of it, when you are excited, or agitated, your breath becomes like waves in a stormy sea, gathering and crashing in quick succession. And when you are calm, isn't it like sitting by a calm lake, river or sea?

I sometimes wonder if there is a connection there? Well 70% of our body is water? Also are there anymore such connections between nature and us? I wonder so much!

A Drop in the Ocean

What is this me?
Why is this me?

What is this them?
Why is this them?

Isn't there just one?

Yes tiny drops make an ocean,
But do we see them as a drop, or just the ocean?

And look at those drops of water,
Not different from each other,
No ego whatsoever,
That they make the massive ocean,
Or I am drop at the top,
And you are at the bottom,
just in darkness, whilst I enjoy the light!
The waves make sure, this isn't a permanent sight.

And look at us, a big 'human',
In this even bigger city, country
In this even bigger, earth, universe!

I won't say grow up!
Because that is the problem.
Go back to your childlike mind,
Be curious all the time,
no right no wrong, no past no future,
Just joy, pure joy.
Right here, right this moment. :)

Living in the Moment?

This is a small attempt to compile and expand some thoughts. This post is one of a few I might share in the future randomly. But poetry will still flow. Thank you for your time. 🙇

People talk about living in the moment. But if you come to think of it, you can only live in the moment and that's it. Neither can you live in the past moment, nor in a future moment.
You can think about the past or future, but that can only happen in this moment. No other moment.
So I guess what people who say to 'live in the moment'  are trying to get is that you experience each moment, completely.
Question comes, how do you do it?
It is no rocket science if you come to think of it. You just need to live each moment, consciously.  :)
